Château Tour Perey is first and foremost a family home. The house dates from 1600 and displays a warm, soft decor, carefully restored, where it feels good to live, and where we can appreciate peace and space.
The family home is surrounded by the vineyard, partly planted on Gallo-Roman ruins, and a tower; an old dovecote that was once a post house which still retains heritage secrets…. A harmonious, charming, humble and accessible setting at the doors of Saint-Émilion.

The Domaine Tour Perey brings together two Châteaux: Tour Perey and Fleur Perey.
While history has often separated them, the Marteau family reunited the two properties once and for all in 2017.

Thus, Domaine Perey continues to establish itself among the “must-sees” of Saint-Émilion.

Settled on the clay-gravel ridges of Saint-Sulpice de Faleyrens, our soils warm up quickly in spring. The combination of poor clay soil and a temperate maritime climate with hot, dry summers pushes our vines to go deep into the soil to draw the nutrients they need. This results in high quality grapes with extraordinary concentrations.

In the cellar, the attention to detail and meticulous work makes all the difference.
Most of our wines are vinified in 500-litre barrels or in temperature-controlled concrete vats. Cold pre-fermentation maceration precedes a 5- to 6- weeks long fermentation on skins and the malolactic fermentation takes place 100% in barrels.

This is followed by ageing on lees and a 3-month-long stirring period before the wine finishes ageing in new 100% French oak barrels for 12 to 18 months depending on the wines and vintages.

The rest, the small details that make the difference, are the secret of the house!
